The Commission, created in 2002, is a partly elected and partly appointed body which manages the Commons on behalf of West Berkshire Council. It consists of ten elected commoners, and ten appointed representatives of stakeholder bodies. It usually meets four times a year, and meetings are open to the public.
A Charity set up in 1945 to commemorate the Great War and Second World War by provision of a memorial hall and playing fields. The Charity also manages the Thatcham War Memorial, and Remembrance events.
