Newbury Wharf - Online Talk (Zoom)

An online talk delvered via Zoom by local historian Dr David Peacock. The Wharf in Newbury was an important inland port from the early 18th century. It was a commercial hub with grain stores and coal yards, and had been home to newbury fire station and bus station. It has also been linked with the short-lived Newbury Castle, besieged in the 12th century.

There is a charge of £5 for the talk. Book online by 29th September, after which bookings will close, and attendees will receive an email with the link to attend.
