Roy Tubb is the author of seven local history books, several organised in a road-by-road format, and covering Thatcham, Cold Ash, Greenham, Shaw, Speen and Stockcross, as well as the distinctive publication Newbury Road by Road (2011).
Roy is a retired mathematics teacher, and former Thatcham Town and Newbury District councillor, with a long-standing interest in the history of Thatcham and the surrounding area.
Admission to talks is free for members £2.50 for visitors.
