Andy Murrill, editor of the Newbury Weekly News, will give an overview of the past, present and future of the newspaper which celebrated its 150th birthday in February. Copies of the book, 'Still Making History' a history of the newspaper writen by his predecessor, Brian Beharrel, will also be available for purchase.
Admission to meetings is £1 for Society members, £2.50 for non-members, to include tea and coffee or biscuits.
Please note that, because of a service at St John's Church this evening, the church car park is unlikely to be available. On-street parking is free in the pay-by-phone parking bays after 6pm, and limited waiting restrictions in the surrounding streets also end at 6pm.
