Anthony Pick moved to Newbury in 1981.  He joined the Executive Committee of the Newbury Society in 2004 and was elected Vice Chairman in 2010.  He has been involved with Heritage Open Days in Newbury since 2008.  In 2011 he was elected to Newbury Town Council, where he sits on the Planning and Highways Committee, and the Heritage Working Party.  In 2015 he was elected to West Berkshire Council where he also sits on the Western Area Planning Committee. He had previously been Chairman of the Newbury and District National Trust Association for the years 2007-12, and joined the West Berkshire Heritage Forum at its inception in 2010.

Susan Ellis moved to Thatcham in 1983. She holds a Joint Honours degree in History and Archaeology and a PG Certificate in the Archaeology of Standing Buildings. She has a long-standing interest in history, heritage and architectural archaeology. She is currently (2018) Treasurer of Thatcham Historical Society (THS), Secretary of the Forum, and on Thatcham Town Council's Heritage Working Party.

Teresa King was born in Hever, Kent, and has lived in Hever, London and Cardiff before moving to Newbury in 1976. In 1983 she was awarded a B Ed Hons degree from Oxford majoring in History. With a lifelong interest in history and local affairs she is active in local organisations, a founder member of Newbury Amateur Astronomical Society, a member of Neighbourhood Watch, Governor of 2 schools, Parish Councillor of Greenham PC, and a founder member and Vice Chair of the Forum.
