The aim of the Forum is to encourage heritage and history groups to come together and share activities, events and experience. The Committee meets regularly through the year, and there is an Annual General Meeting in spring or early summer, and at least one other annual event which can be an Open Day, a Local Listing Panel, talks or seminars, or another group event. Currently the Forum is involved with the Local Listing of heritage assets throughout West Berkshire, and is looking at creating a Blue Plaque process which would be available to Parish Councils. The 2018 AGM was held on 22nd June at 7.15pm, and was hosted by Stockcross & Surroundings History Association at the Sutton Hall, Stockcross. See the report on the News pages.
